Das hatte ich gerade letzte Woche. Habe einen "Linsentopf nach Großmutters Art" gekocht und sie haben alle DREIMAL nachgenommen, also passte er wohl ganz gut. Ganz pragmatisch, wahrscheinlich machst du den sowieso genauso? Ich schreibs trotzdem vorsichtshalber mal rein :-)
Riesengroßer Topf wird gebraucht.
500g braune Linsen über Nacht einweichen und dann gründlich abspülen (oder Tellerlinsen, die müssen nicht vorquellen). Vier bis fünf Möhren in feine Scheibchen schneiden, ebenso vier bis fünf Stangen Lauch und zwei bis drei Pfund Kartoffeln oder noch ein bisschen mehr (feine Würfel), alles zusammen mit 3-4 Litern Gemüsebrühe auffüllen, zum Kochen bringen, sofort auf kleine Flamme stellen, anderthalb Stunden köcheln, ausmachen. Pfeffern, ordentlich salzen. Erkalten lassen, wieder kurz aufkochen, erkalten lassen, wieder kurz aufkochen.
Ab dem dritten Mal Erkalten schmeckt er super.

p.s. die Wurst hab ich vergessen: Ich schnippel meistens eine Mettwurst in Fizzeln mit rein, serviere ihn aber nachher mit Heißwürstchen. So hab ich den richtigen Geschmack, aber ohne diese ultrafettigen Würste ...

Lecker, ich bekomme glatt Hunger. Ich habe noch nie Chili gemacht und noch nie selbst Linsensuppe gemacht.

Der Sack Kartoffeln hat auch ne Bestimmung bekommen, Kartoffelsuppe mache ich auch, liebe Heike.
