Diese Woche arbeite ich sozusagen nur halbtags, also nur 9h pro Tag.
Heute, früher heim, prüfen, ob das Kind der Sommergrippe ausweichen konnte.
Mittwoch, heim, Mann muß um 18:30 Uhr zu den alten Herren.
Donnerstag, heim, Mann auf Dienstreise, Kind rechtzeitig von der Freundin holen
Freitag, arbeiten arbeiten arbeiten (mal ausnahmsweise mehr als 9 Stunden).
Und MORGEN!
Morgen, lieber Chef, kannst Du mich nicht halten,
auch nicht mit festbinden!
Ich fahre, ich fahre, jippijippijeyeh ...
zu Frau ... äh ... Mutti und der Jette.
Frau ... äh ... Mutti: gelitten - jetzt weiß ich den Weg zu Ihnen ;)
Und die Schere bringe ich auch mit ;))

Good story and a nice summation of the problem. My only problem with the analysis is given that much of the population joined the chorus of deregulatory mythology, given vested interest is inclined toward perpetuation of the current system and given a lack of a popular cheerleader for your arguments, I'm not seeing much in the way of change.
