Seit einigen Jahren habe ich Hängebegonien. Ich kaufe jedes Jahr wieder neue Knollen, stecke sie in den gleichen Topf wie im Vorjahr, mit etwas neuer Erde und Langzeitdünger.
Und dann kümmere ich mich den ganzen Sommer nicht mehr um die Pflanze. Und sie geraten jedes Jahr wunderschön und blühen bis zum ersten Frost.
Mit Einschränkung:
Diesmal hatte ich drei Töpfe, aber einer war aus Plastik, ohne Abflußloch. Und da ist die Pflanze bei unserem tollen Wetter regelrecht abgesoffen. Und da die lieben Begonien es gar nicht lieben, wenn man sie bewegt, strafte mich diese Pflanze mit abgebrochenen Zweigen und absolutem Unwillen. Obwohl ich das Wasser aus dem Topf heraus fließen lies, und obwohl ich ihr einen Platz unterm Unterstand verpasst habe, ist sie ... wie kurz nach dem Einpflanzen. Na gut, ich habe daraus gelernt. Nächstes Jahr bekommt auch die dritte Pflanze einen anständigen Topf!
